The Infantil A, Alevín A, Alevín B Roda, Alevín C, Alevín D and Prebenjamín B teams have all claimed league titles this season
A total of six teams from the Villarreal CF youth academy have been crowned champions in their respective domestic competitions during the 2024/25 season: Infantil A, Alevín A, Alevín B Roda, Alevín C, Alevín D and Prebenjamín B.
Infantil A, made up entirely of players from 2011, sealed the Liga Autonómica title in their category on the weekend of 4th May after a 1-1 draw against Levante UD. With three games still to play, the team coached by former Yellows player Marcos Gullón secured the championship mathematically.
Infantil A have been outstanding, remaining unbeaten with one match still to go. They have recorded 29 wins and four draws from 33 games, amassing 91 points – 11 more than second-placed Levante. The side has scored 107 goals and conceded just 12. On top of their collective brilliance, they also boast top individual talent, with four players receiving call-ups to Spain’s U14 national team: Víctor Maestra, Pablo López, Gael Palomar and Aarón Ruiz.
Alevín A (U12s) have also enjoyed a remarkable campaign. The team, coached by Juanma Blasco, clinched the Liga Preferente title in the penultimate matchday, beating Valencia CF 4-2 in a direct battle for the top spot.
Their record in the regional competition includes nine wins, one draw and just one defeat, finishing with 28 points – four more than the runners-up. They have scored 33 goals and conceded just ten. The team is now preparing for the XXXII Torneo Nacional ASCALE LALIGA FC FUTURES, the prestigious youth football tournament that will take place at the Estadio de la Cerámica from 6th to 8th June.
Meanwhile, Alevín B Roda have already confirmed their dominance in the Primera FFCV with two matches still to play. They sit on 67 points from 22 wins and one draw, with an impressive 125 goals scored.
In the same league but in Group 2 rather than Group 1, Alevín C secured the title this past weekend after a 2-0 win over Alqueries CF. Their figures speak for themselves: 50 points from 16 wins, two draws and two defeats, with 94 goals scored.
As for Alevín D, they are one game away from completing an unbeaten season, having already secured the championship in the Segunda FFCV. The Yellows have earned 49 points from 16 wins and one draw, with 98 goals scored and just 18 conceded, maintaining a goal difference of +80.
The final champions come from the youngest ranks of the Yellow Submarine. Prebenjamín B (U7s= have been unstoppable in the Primera FFCV. With one game left to play, they remain unbeaten with 69 points, having scored a stunning 248 goals and conceded just 12. In their latest outing, they defeated CF Rafalafena D 0-19.
A special tribute at La Cerámica
Villarreal CF paid tribute to the six title-winning teams from the academy during the half-time break of the Villarreal vs Sevilla match. The players and coaching staff of the youth sides took to the pitch at the Estadio de la Cerámica, receiving a warm ovation from the Yellow fans and posing for a photo with club president Fernando Roig.
