The first team celebrates Champions League qualification at the restaurant inside the Estadio de la Cerámica
Villarreal CF held its traditional end-of-season lunch this Thursday at El Ceramista, the restaurant located inside the Estadio de la Cerámica. The event brought together the first-team players and coaching staff to celebrate the club’s qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
With one league fixture remaining – against Sevilla – Villarreal have already secured their objective and will turn the final match into a celebration. Ahead of that, the Yellows enjoyed a relaxed and cheerful gathering attended not only by the first team, but also by members of the board of directors, sponsors, coaching staff from Villarreal B, Villarreal C and Villarreal Women, as well as representatives from the Villarreal CF Supporters’ Association (Agrupació de Penyes del Villarreal CF – APV).
Gold badges for Dani Parejo and Raúl Albiol
During the special occasion, club president Fernando Roig presented gold badges to Raúl Albiol and Dani Parejo in recognition of their achievement of making over 200 appearances for the Yellow Submarine.
As is tradition, the club also honoured employees who have completed 20 seasons of dedicated service to Villarreal CF.
