Villarreal CF has prepared two activations to raise awareness of autism spectrum conditions, on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day, which is celebrated today, Wednesday 2nd April.
This Wednesday, the Yellows will light up the Estadio de la Cerámica in blue, a color that has traditionally symbolized Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
In addition, against Athletic Club, Villarreal CF will use pictograms to accompany the lyrics of the club’s official anthem on the Estadio de la Cerámica’s scoreboard. An initiative to raise awareness of these developmental disorders that affect communication and social interaction.
Villarreal CF’s releationship with autism centre El Cau
Through the Endavant Igualtat program, Villarreal CF collaborates with the autism center El Cau in Castellón. Every season, a team from the academy strengthens ties with the people of the association, holding regular meetings and gatherings with this special center in our province.
