The collaboration will be presented this Wednesday at 5pm CET in Valencia
Villarreal CF and the Roig Arena have reached a collaboration agreement, which will be presented to the media this Wednesday 12th March at 5pm CET in front of the venue itself (junction between Calle Ángel Villena and Calle Bomber Ramón Duart in Valencia, next to l’Alqueria del Basket). The event will be attended by the club’s president, Fernando Roig, and first team players Dani Parejo and Raúl Albiol.
The Roig Arena will be the future large multi-purpose indoor arena in the city of Valencia, where sporting, entertainment and corporate events will be held. The project has a budget of more than €280m, financed entirely by Juan Roig, president of Mercadona, from his personal assets. The Roig Arena, which will begin operating in September 2025, will have an estimated maximum capacity of 20,000 spectators for concerts.
