Miguel Álvarez emphasised that the team is on the rise and hopes for a repeat of the performance against Alcoyano
Villarreal B head coach, Miguel Álvarez, appeared before the media this Friday to analyse the match against AD Ceuta, which will be played this Sunday, at 5:30pm CET, at the Mini Estadi of the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground.
He highlighted the great run of form of the Mini Submarine’s next opponents: “They’ve gone twelve games unbeaten. They are a very strong team. They’ve improved their squad a lot with the signings they made in the winter. They are a very difficult opponent, against whom we have to do everything right to win. At their place, we did things very well and we didn’t manage to get the three points.”
The Mini Submarine head coach has also called on his team to show the same level as they did against Deportivo Alcoyano in order to get close to victory against one of the most in-form sides in the league: “You don’t just get 12 games in the Primera RFEF easily. They’re a team in very good form. The other day at home we competed very well, but at home it’s all about winning. The other day we competed at a very good level, but this week we have to do it again if we want to beat Ceuta.”
Finally, the Mini Submarine coach has given the recipe to be competitive this Sunday. “What we have to do is take care of the transcendent and make sure that their strong points don’t come to the fore. To do that we have to bring out the best individual and collective level,” said Miguel Álvarez.
