A total of four players from the Yellows have been called up by their national team.
Villarreal Women players Tere Morató, Fatou Kanteh, Yeni Giménez and Kayla McKenna have been called up to their national teams for the September international window.
Tere Morató will play two UEFA Women’s Nations League qualifiers with Andorra against Moldova and Latvia. Fatou Kanteh, with Gambia, will play the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Namibia.
Yeni Giménez will also play the South American Games with the Venezuelan national team against Uruguay. Finally, Kayla McKenna will join the Jamaican national team for the CONCACAF Women’s Championship against Canada.
