Villarreal CF have reached an agreement for the renewal of the Catalan left-back’s contract
Villarreal CF and Xavi Quintillà have reached an agreement for the renewal of the Catalan left-back’s contract, with a new deal that sees him tied to the club until June 2023. Quintillà’s contract ran until 2021, so he has extended it for two further seasons.
The Catalan striker (23/08/1996, Lleida) was formed at FC Barcelona’s academy, although he joined Villarreal B from Lleida Esportiu. He has played 29 games for the first team at Villarreal.
