Villarreal B manager Miguel Álvarez underlines that they will have to continue performing at the highest level if they want to beat Atlético Levante
Villarreal B manager Miguel Álvarez underlines that his team need to continue performing at the highest level to get the three points from this Saturday’s game against Atlético Levante (5pm CET). “Atlético Levante are a good team that combines youngsters with older, more experienced players. They’re on a good run with three runs in a row. It won’t be easy, but we’re preparing the game to try and win. We want to compete as we’ve been doing.”
The Yellows beat league leaders Sabadell in their last game (2-0). “We’re happy to have started the year like that, with a victory against the leaders. We ended 2019 with a loss against Prat and now we’ve returned to winning ways, and by playing well. If we want to be high up the table, winning matches at home is crucial,” he underlined.
To conclude, the Mini Submarine coach underlined the path to follow for the future: “What is important is to keep calm. We’re on the right path, despite the results not always being wins. The team is in a good place. The key to success is hard work.”
