Almassora will feature as part of Endavant Província and kick-start the Groc Talent music contest
Get involved! Villarreal CF has organised a series of pre-match activities ahead of the game against Deportivo Alavés this Friday at the Estadio de la Cerámica (9pm). Almassora will feature as part of the Endavant Província, with a new edition of the ‘3×3 Groguet’ tournament and the Groc Talent contest will start with a Bloeman performance in the Fan Zone located just in front of the South Stand (Fondo Sur).
More than 270 fans from the town have been invited to the game by the club. In addition, before the game and during half time, the Unión Instructivo Musical La Esmeralda, conducted by Victor Alapont and made up of 40 musicians, will perform several pieces. The official director’s meal will be provided by the Gastro-Bar Duo Restaurant. The Almassora mayor, Merche Galí will be in attendance, and he will also be in the VIP box at the Estadio de la Cerámica for the game.
At 19.00, the activities in the Fan Zone, located in the Estadio de la Cerámica square will begin, with the celebration of a new edition of the “3×3 Groguet” tournament. On this occasion, teams from Esportiu Vila-real, Burriana FB and Alqueries CF teams will all participate.
Bloeman, the first participant in the Groc Talent contest
This Friday will see the start of the Groc Talent contest in the Estadio de la Cerámica Fan Zone with a performance by Bloeman at 8pm. Groc Talent was created from the agreement between Villarreal CF and the SanSan Festival within the Endavant Cultura initiative. Nine groups will take part and the winner will play in the Benicàssim festival in 2020. This Friday is the turn of Bloeman, who started writing songs at the age of 17. After a lot of hard work, this year he has performed at Zigzag festival 2019 and on stage at Jumping del Rototom Sunsplash. Bloeman will entertain yellow fans with reggae music. Tribute to Santi Cazorla and Moi Gómez
Just before the match the club will honour Santi Cazorla and Moi Gómez. Cazorla has played 300 official matches for Villarreal CF, while Moi Gómez has played more than 100 games for the club in all competitions.
The plan for this Friday is as follows:
- 3pm: Official director’s meal, with the menu provided by Dúo Gastro-Bar restaurant. The mayor of Almassora, Merche Galí, will be in attendance and will also be in the VIP box at the Estadio de la Cerámica for the game.
- 7pm: Start of the Fan Zone, including the ‘3v3 Groguet’ tournament. Teams from Esportiu Vila-real, Burriana FB and Alqueries CF will all take part.
- 8pm: Bloeman’s performance in the Fan Zone for the Groc Talent competition.
- 8:30pm: First performance by Unión Instructivo Musical La Esmeralda, made up of 40 musicians and conducted by Víctor Alapont.
- 8:55pm: Photo of the ‘3v3 Groguet’ tournament winners with the Villarreal CF starting XI.
- 8:57pm: Tribute to Santi Cazorla and Moi Gómez for having completed 300 and 100 games for Villarreal CF, respectively.
- 9pm: Kick off for the Villarreal CF vs Deportivo Alavés match.
- 9:45pm: Second performance by Unión Instructivo Musical La Esmeralda.
