Villarreal CF once more collaborated with the Benicàssim International Festival on its 25th edition
Villarreal CF once more collaborated with the Benicàssim International Festival (FIB) through the Endavant Cultura initiative, which has the objective of promoting aspects of cultural life both in the province of Castellón, as around the club. The event, which was celebrating 25th edition, had an incredible line-up.
But it was not only about the music, FIB also had a number of activities away from the stages, including the traditional charity match for Save The Children, organised between the festival and Villarreal CF, where artists and journalists took to the pitch in a match which saw the involvement of Marcos Senna.
Those who watched the match could see some of their musical idols playing football. Bifannah, Belako, Alien Tango, Mavi Phoenix, The Hunna and Monterrosa were just some of those who put on their boots to help disadvantaged children.
After the match, Senna, representing Villarreal CF, handed over a number of presents for the Save The Children children, who also enjoyed the match and got to know celebrities like the former Yellow Submarine captain.
Fibers could also enjoy football in the build-up to the festival, taking part in the 3v3 Fiber Groguet Tournament, a competition organised by Villarreal CF through the Endavant Cultura initiative. It took place in the Villacamp VIP campsite. Those taking part, in teams of three to five members, took part in a knock-out tournament with four minute games.
The winners won a Villarreal CF shirt and a winners’ medal, commemorating the first ever 3v3 Fiber Groguet Tournament.
