The winner of the online tournament will play in yellow at the biggest eSports and video games festival in the world
The countdown for DreamHack Valencia 2019 is on. The biggest eSports and video games festival in the world will take place from 5th to 7th July at Feria Valencia. Villarreal CF will be present there thanks to the collaboration agreement with DreamHack Valencia in terms of organisation, with the aim of making eSports as accessible and as big as possible for Yellows fans.
In Valencia, more than 55,000 technology lovers will come together. Villarreal fans will get 15% discount on tickets (except group and VIP), by visiting https://dreamhack.es/ and using the following promotional code: VILLARREAL.
The aim of the agreement between Villarreal CF and DreamHack is to bring the future of sports, eSports, to the traditional sporting public.
Ahead of the festival, there will be an online PS4 FIFA 19 tournament. Fans can take part on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June. The winner of the tournament will get free entry to DreamHack Valencia and will play in the finals, representing Villarreal CF on Friday 5th July, from 9:30am to 10:30am CEST.

The deadline to register will be Friday 28th June at 11:59pm. A maximum of 64 online players will take part and the competition will be like this:

- Group stage: Saturday 29/06 at 6pm CEST (one match versus each team, the top two qualify).
- Round of 32: Saturday 29/06 at 7pm CEST (best of three)
- Round of 16: Saturday 29/06 at 7:45pm CEST (best of three).
- Quarter-finals: Sunday 30/06 at 6pm CEST (best of three).
- Semi-finals: Sunday 30/06 at 6:45pm CEST (best of three).
- Final: Sunday 30/06 at 7:30pm CEST (best of three).
The winner of the online tournament will also get a season ticket for next year, as well as an official shirt, alongside a gaming pack. They will also go to Dreamhack to compete in a unique FIFA competition, representing the club against other teams from the Comunidad Valenciana.
