Villarreal’s youth teams received recognition from the fans
Three of the five Yellows youth teams who won their leagues this season have received adulation from the fans this afternoon at the Mini Estadi at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva). The U19s (Juvenil A), who have also just reached the U19 Copa del Rey quarter-finals, the U14s (Infantil A) and the Ladies C team took to the pitch during half-time of the Villarreal B match against UD Melilla, the first leg of the first round of the promotion play-offs to Segunda División, where they were given a standing ovation by the public, and also met club president Fernando Roig.
The U12s (Alevín A) and U10s (Benjamín A), were also champions in the 2018/19 season, but were unable to be at the stadium, as they are in Andorra and Italy respectively taking part in international tournaments.
