Villarreal CF is working with the event, which will take place on Friday 17th May in Vila-real
For yet another year, Villarreal CF is collaborating with the organisation of Beerrock Fest, which is into its fifth edition, with the aim of raising funds for the Conquistando Escalones charity. Money raised will go to Muscular Dystrophy and HIV medical research.
The event, organised by the Vila-real Council, will take place on 17th May, Sant Pasqual day, and in the middle of the local festivities in the town. The fundraising festival, which is now almost a tradition during the festivities, will take place in the playground of the Escultor Ortells School.
Each beer drunk at the festival could cover five minutes of medical research. Furthermore, all the costs of Beerrock Fest have been covered, thanks to a campaign searching for sponsors.
The lineup has some of the leading bands from the Castellón province, such as El Chamuyo, Ruth Baker Band, La Malavida and Enfields. The doors will open at 6pm CEST, and will go on until midnight. Entry is free and there will be artisan beers and home-made food, as well as other drinks available, for those who aren’t lovers of hops and barley.
