The Yellows defender underlines the group’s commitment and calls for unity between the team and fans
Villarreal defender Jaume Costa appeared this lunchtime ahead of the media to analyse the Yellow Submarine’s current situation. “This group is completely committed. We are aware that we are in a negative moment in terms of results, but we are working as hard as possible to get out of this situation,” he explained.
The Yellows No.11 highlighted his belief that Villarreal should show their most competitive side: “We need to be competitive. Get results even when we’re not at our best and doing the right thing in each part of the moment, without being nervous.”
Furthermore, Costa underlined the importance of backing from the stands to get past this current bad run: “The players need to get us out of this situation, through hard work and giving everything on the pitch, but we need the fans to be with us, to feel like we’re surrounded by support to help us get the three points.”
