

The Yellows Reserves lost 2-1 against Hércules CF with an unlucky goal in added time
Miguel Álvarez’s side fell just short against Hércules in an encounter in which they deserved more. The Yellows Reserves looked good and in the second half had chances which could have seen them take all three points.
The team from Alicante went ahead through Emana on the counter attack, Quintillà equalised for the home team from a free-kick, before Juanjo Nieto scored the decisive goal. The Hércules defender cleared the ball from the halfway line, but after an unfortunate slip from goalkeeper Joan Femenías, it found its way into the net slowly.
The Mini Submarine went head-to-head with one of the most potent teams in the division and left a good taste in the mouth. The goal to make it 0-1 arrived in the second half. A great chance for Enric Franquesa for Villarreal B ended with a deadly counter-attack by Hercules, finished by Emana.
The Yellows Reserves got a deserved equaliser with a spectacular free-kick by Quintillà, which went in off the post, although in added time the match-winning goal came from Nieto after the unfortunate slip by Villarreal B’s goalkeeper.
