Cheryshev and Enes Ünal also got minutes with Russia and Turkey respectively
Villarreal’s international players, Carlos Bacca (Colombia), Rukavina (Serbia) and Salem (Saudi Arabia) all started for their countries yesterday on the final matchday of the friendly matches in this most recent international break, in which eight Yellows in total were called up for their countries.
The Yellow Submarine’s Colombian striker, Carlos Bacca, played 74 minutes in a match that was played in London against Australia which finished in a goalless draw (0-0). Rukavina, who did not play in Serbia’s first match against Morocco but played the full 90 minutes against Nigeria yesterday (0-2). Salem also played the full match for Saudi Arabia against Belgium (4-0).
Minutes for Enes and Cheryshev
For his part, Turkish striker, Enes Ünal, came on in the 76th minute in the match between Turkey and Montenegro (2-2), while Cheryshev played the last 10 minutes against France (1-3 France win). On this occasion, unlike in their previous matches, Rodrigo (Spain) and Fornals (Spain U21) did not get any minutes.
