Samu Castillejo expects Astana to “sit back” and try to “hurt us on the counterattack”
In today’s press conference, Villarreal CF midfielder, Samu Castillejo, said the Submarine have their sights set on kicking off the UEFA Europa League with a win over Astana (Thursday at 7pm CEST, Estadio de la Cerámica): “We’re ready to start strong, attacking from the beginning to get our first three points in the competition in front of our fans”.
Likewise the Yellows number 10, who scored a spectacular goal and was one of the stand out players in Villarreal’s victory over Real Betis (3-1), believes the Kazakh side will opt to “exploit” Fran Escribá’s side on the counterattack.
