Andrés will undergo an operation on the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee this Tuesday
Villarreal CF goalkeeper, Andrés Fernández, was optimistic and excited to start the recovery process for the anterior cruciate ligament injury to his right knee that he sustained against Real Sociedad at the Anoeta stadium on 25th August. The Yellow number 13 will be operated on this Tuesday at the Centro de Excelencia FIFA Ripoll y de Prado Quirón in Murcia and the operation will be performed by Doctor Pedro Luis Ripoll.
“I’m already excited to start the recovery process. From the moment I left the Anoeta stadium I was mentally ready. The best way to face these types of injuries is with optimism”, Andrés Fernández commented. The Murcia native was also very grateful for the numerous messages of support he has received.
