Villarreal CF’s Italian-German striker, Nicola Sansone, is optimistic ahead of the start of the season
Villarreal CF’s Italian-German forward, Nicola Sansone, is optimistic about the Submarine’s chances this season, despite the recent defeat against Boca Juniors and Inter Milan. “We’re tired from the training sessions. The results are not so important in preseason. The most important thing is to prepare well for the start of the season against Levante. Our aim is to start the league off as strong as we can. It’s important to work hard right now and even more important for us all to be really excited for what’s to come”, he commented.
Sansone played wide on the left against Inter, a position that is not new for him. “I like playing in a 4-3-3- I can play as a striker or a wide player. It’s not a problem for me, I will play wherever the Manager wants me to”.
Lastly, the Yellows number 18 emphasized how great the group in the Yellows changing room is: “We know each other well and the new players that have arrived will give us a lot”.
