Jonathan emphasized the Submarine’s desire to face Deportivo
In today’s press conference, Villarreal’s Mexican midfielder, Jonathan dos Santos talked about the Submarine’s great “desire” to face RC Deportivo de La Coruña at the Estadio de la Cerámica (Sunday, 8pm CET): “The team is working really well, we’re eager and have great desire to finish the season on a high, and this will only happen by beating Deportivo in front of our fans. We know it’s a really important match”.
In addition, the Yellow number 8 said the Submarine are treating this like “a final”: “We’re facing a team that’s playing for a lot. It’s like a final, we have to go out there and give our all to win and get even closer to our goal of playing in the Europa League”. Lastly, the Mexico international expressed his satisfaction with regard to his personal performances this season: “It has been a good year for me on a personal level. I’ve played consistently. Injuries have respected me and the Manager has shown confidence in me”.
