Villarreal CF’s Italian midfielder highlights the difficulty of the upcoming clash vs SD Eibar
In today’s press conference, Villarreal CF’s Italian midfielder, Roberto Soriano, highlighted just how challenging the final stretch of the LaLiga Santander season will be. “We have a lot of games in a short space of time, but we’re ready for what’s to come”. Nevertheless, the Yellows’ number 20 prefers not to look beyond this Saturday’s match (1pm CET) against SD Eibar: “Our goal is to beat Eibar”. To do that, Soriano says the team must “go out there with intensity” and “play our game”.
Lastly, Soriano recognised that the international break has been positive for the Submarine: “It has been good for us to get away and charge our batteries ahead of this final phase of the season, in which there is still so much to play for”.
