The eternal captain was celebrated by the ‘Furia Amarilla’ and ‘Espardenya Groga’ Fan Clubs
At midday today, the ex-Yellows captain and current member of the Villarreal CF Institutional Relations Department, Marcos Senna, was celebrated by the ‘Furia Amarilla’ (Vila-real) and ‘Espardenya Groga’ (La Vilavella) Fan Clubs in a moving event that was held at the Fan Club Association (Agrupació de Penyes) headquarters. In representation of the Villarreal CF Administrative Board, Salvador Ten attended the celebration.
At the celebration, Marcos Senna was presented with a very special gift: a photo album of the best images from the eternal captain’s fruitful and extensive career with the Yellow Submarine. Speeches were given by the presidents of the ‘Furia Amarilla’ Fan Club, Gustavo Sánchez, and the ‘Espardenya Groga’ Fan Club, Xavier Ibáñez, as well as a thank you speech by Senna himself. To finish, all those present had a ‘family photo’ taken in front of the Estadio de la Cerámica’s gate number 19, which is dedicated to Marcos Senna.
