José Ángel assures that the team “is working very hard” to beat Granada CF
Villarreal will look to get back to winning ways with a victory against Granada CF this Saturday at the Estadio de la Cerámica (1pm CET) and the best way to approach this match is with unity and intensity. At least these are the keys for the Submarine’s left back, José Ángel: “You go through different spells in football. We’re doing well, we’re solid. It wasn’t our day against Valencia, but the team is calm. We’ll definitely get back to winning and things will be different. This team has great players in all positions. We all sacrifice for the same goal, both in defence and attack. We’re all working together to create more goal scoring opportunities”.
Villarreal are in sixth place in the LaLiga Santander, but will go for the win to try and establish themselves even more in the European zone of the table. “It’s really important for us to get a win to stay towards the top of the table. We’re working well for that. We have to take it one step at a time. If we play to our level we’ll be in the European spots. It’s true that other teams have raised their game, but we’re doing well. All the teams have been strengthened and the level is very even. In the end, it’s the small details that determine the table. If we’re consistent we’ll be close achieving our objective”, José Ángel affirmed.
Lastly, José Ángel highlighted union between the team and fans, that will be fundamental against Granada CF: “It’s normal that the fans are getting a bit anxious because they want their team to win. We have to remain calm and just think about winning on Saturday against Granada. In the second half of the season it’s really tough to pick up three points. We haven’t won so far in 2017, but we have come up against very good teams, like Barcelona and Real Sociedad. We have to stay positive because I believe we’re on the right track to get back to winning”.
