Villarreal CF presented the merchandise for the charity video game with a fun celebration
This afternoon Villarreal CF presented the official merchandise for the charity video game ‘Villarreal CF Soccer Hunters’. Dozens of children enjoyed the celebration in the new plaza (square) located in front of the Estadio de la Cerámica. The youngsters participated in a fun competition that recreated several of the videogames’ challenges. As a prize, the winners of each of the six categories received two tickets for the upcoming match against Valencia CF at the Estadio de la Cerámica (Saturday, 8:45pm CET).
The Official Shop at the Estadio de la Cerámica opened its doors to promote the ‘Villarreal CF Soccer Hunters’ merchandise: t-shirts featuring characters from the video game and a very special card game including some of the Yellow Submarine players. Two footballers from the Yellows First Team squad, Samu Castillejo and Antonio Rukavina, as well as ex-Yellow Marcos Senna were all present at the event, in which they signed autographs and had photos taken with fans. Club mascot ‘Groguet’ was also present and all involved made it an unforgettable day.
From today onwards, the merchandise for the charity video game ‘Villarreal CF Soccer Hunters’ will be on sale in all Villarreal CF’s Official Shops. It should also be mentioned that the video game is free, but all the funds raised through merchandising and extra expenses will go to charity. Villarreal CF will give their entire share of revenue to the ‘Conquistando Escalones’ association, that was founded for those affected by Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy (LGMD-1F). In fact, Vice President of ‘Conquistando Escalones’, Abrahán Girao, has played an active part in the creation of the video game by Omar Serralvo, of the Vampirako Studio.
