Fran Escribá has chosen his squad to face Osmanlispor (Thursday, 7pm CET)
The Villarreal CF management team, led by Fran Escribá, have chosen their list of players for Matchday 3 in the Group stage of the UEFA Europa League, to be played this Thursday against Osmanlispor FK (7pm CET, live on beIN MAX 1).
The chosen 19 players are the following:
- Goalkeepers: Andrés Fernández, Barbosa and Joan Femenías (number 31).
- Defenders: Rukavina, José Ángel, Bonera, Víctor Ruiz, Jaume Costa and Álvaro.
- Midfielders: N’Diaye, Bruno, Soriano, Castillejo, Jonathan dos Santos and Rodrigo.
- Strikers: Pato, Santos Borré, Bakambu and Sansone.
Medical Update:
- Musacchio: Tonsillitis.
- Cheryshev: In process of reconditioning after suffering a hamstring strain in right leg.
- Soldado: Tear of anterior cruciate ligament and lateral meniscus in right knee.
- Jokic: Fracture of the phalanx in the fifth digit of left foot.
Travel Plan:
Villarreal will set off at 1:45pm today from Castellón airport, with destination Ankara. Once there, the Yellows will stay at the Hotel Crowne Plaza, where the official press conference of Villarreal Manager, Fran Escribá, and goalkeeper Andrés Fernández, will take place at 7pm CET (8pm in Turkey).
The Submarine will take on Osmanlispor this Thursday (7pm CET), while on Friday the team will train in Turkey before embarking on the return journey to Spain, where they will get back to Castellón airport at 4:30pm, approximately. On Saturday, at 10:30am, the squad will train behind closed doors at El Madrigal (first 15 minutes open to press).
