

The Mini Submarine, who went ahead, came away with a draw from a tough ground
The Villarreal B team picked up a point on their visit to Lleida’s Camp d’Esports ground, in a match Paco López’s side almost won. A goal by Carlos López at the start of the second half put the Yellows ahead, but Guillem Martí equalized with a quarter of an hour to go.
The Mini Submarine completely dominated the first half. The visitors had possession, playing the ball around in search of goal. The only thing missing was the final pass to convert all their possession into clear goal scoring opportunities. Lleidá were kept waiting. The best chance of the first half fell to Cantalapiedra.
The second half started with good news for Paco López. Larrea put a ball over the top of the oppostion’s defence to Carlos López, who finished to perfection past Álvaro Campos. However, the Yellows Reserves let the home side back into the game. Lleida started to get forward and equalized with a goal from Guillem Martí with fifteen minutes left.
The Villarreal B team’s next match is this Saturday 22nd October against l’Hospitalet at the Mini Estadi (6pm CET). The Catalonian side come off the back of a loss at home against Hércules (0-2).
