The Italian defender assures he is “always ready” to help the team throughout the season
At midday today Villarreal’s experienced Italian defender, Daniele Bonera, assured that both he and his teammates have it in mind to achieve something big this season in any of the three competitions. “Last year we wanted to win a title , but we know it’s not easy. I think this should be Villarreal’s aim. We have to work hard to achieve something significant”, he commented.
The Yellows number 23 assured he will be ready for when Fran Escribá puts him in the side: “I understand my role in the team completely. I always train maximally so I’m ready for when the Manager needs me to play. In this changing room there are great people. We’re all very professional players and I think it’s a changing room that all Managers would want to have”.
