A total of 121 towns have benefited from the Endanvant Província initiative
For the past two seasons, Villarreal CF has contributed to the boost in tourism in the Castellón province with the ‘Endavant Província’ iniciative, which promotes the different Castellón towns during home matches at El Madrigal. A perfect showcase for the towns, which people can get to know better thanks to a touristic promotional video played at halftime on the scoreboard screen, as well as the broadcasting of information on social networks and the club’s official website and programmes.
In addition, the representatives from each town take part in the clubs’ official lunch for the Board of Directors and have the chance to offer typical products in the vicinity of the stadium. As a climax, the town’s music band also has a role in the match, as they play some pieces of music before and during half-time on the pitch at El Madrigal for the fans.
In the last two years that the initative has been running, 121 towns from the Castellón province have benefited from the Endavant Província initiative. The initiative started in the 2014/2015 season with the promotion of the capital of the Baix Maestrat region, Vinaròs, and this season finished with the promotion of two towns from the Plana Baixa region, Alfondeguilla and la Vilavella.
In total, 121 towns, 23,431 residents and 2,380 musicians were able to enjoy and make the most of this national and international showcase. Furthermore, both on social networks and on the Villarreal official website 2,677,470 (video) and 170,067 (news) people have been reached, having a great touristic impact down to the promotional videos and news published by Villarreal. Throughout these two campaigns, the budget allocated to Endavant Província has been 170,000 Euros.
