

2,000 Villarreal fans will cheer on their team at Anfield
A Yellow flood has swarmed Liverpool. A quarter of those Villarreal travelling to Liverpool to cheer on their team at Anfield are already on English soil. Three of the nine flights that wll travel to Liverpool from Castellón Airport have arrived in the English city, while the remaining flights will leave tomorrow morning to get behind their team in the Semi-final second leg of the UEFA Europa League, that the Yellows will play against the legendary Liverpool FC.
It should be noted that this is the biggest trip made by fans this season, with a total of 2,000 supporters making the journey. In the second leg of the UEFA Europa League Quarter-finals, played in Prague, 400 fans made the trip.
‘Fan Zone’ for Yellows fans in Liverpool
There will be a meeting point for Villarreal CF fans in the centre of Liverpool before this Thursday’s match. There, the ‘Celtic Submarí’ Fan Club have organised a ‘Fan Zone’ in Concert Square, where Yellows fans who wish to can sign the banner to pay tribute to the victims of Hillsborough. What’s more, there will be live music from 12pm to 6pm, after which Submarine fans will make their way to the stadium. Once there, the fans will leave the tribute banner at the Memorial dedicated to the victims of the Hillsborough disaster.
