Academy players who have been at the club for 10 years were given a ceramic Submarine
Villarreal CF paid tribute to the Academy players who have played for the club for a decade, just before the match against Real Sociedad at El Madrigal. The Villarreal CF President, Fernando Roig, presented a ceramic made Yellow Submarine to each of the ten players, at an event also attended by Vice President, José Manuel Llaneza, and Marcos Senna, member of the club’s Institutional Relations Department.
The celebration took place in El Madrigal’s VIP box. The recognised Academy players were Ferran Bort (U16 B), Jairo Bueno (U19 Roda), Raúl Cabedo (U19 B), Juan Fernández (Villarreal C), Joan Gumbau (U16 B), Iván Menero (U16 B), Izan Morcillo (U16 A), Adrián Salvador (U16 B), Borja Valls (U16 B) and Marc Vicente Vidal (U16 A).
