Villarreal U21s will play in the Semi-finals against FC Porto (Wednesday, 8pm CET)
The U21 team, made up of Reserve team players, will face FC Porto in the Semi-finals of the Premier League International Cup this Wednesday. The match will take place at the Milwall FC stadium ‘The Den’, and will be broadcasted live on Villarreal CF Live and Televisión de Castellón Mediterráneo at 8pm CET.
The Villarreal U21 team manager, Paco López, has chosen the following 18 players for the match:
- Goalkeepers: Ander Cantero and Aitor.
- Defenders: Carlos Julio, Felipe, Javi Ramírez, Marcos Mauro, Juan ‘Ibiza’ and Edgar Ié.
- Midfielders: Iván Alejo, Larrea, ‘Chuca’, Alfonso, Ramiro, Leo Suárez and Aitor Cantalapiedra.
- Strikers: Carlos Martínez, Fran Sol and Mario González.
Trip Itinerary
The Young players will set off on their journey this afternoon at 6:15pm from Castellón Airport and will arrive at London Stansted at 7:45pm. They will be staying in the Greenwich Mercure hotel and their return flight will be on Thursday, arriving in Castellón at 5:40pm CET.
