Villarreal and Valencia come to an agreement for the loan of the centerback.
Villarreal CF and Valencia CF have agreed on a loan deal for Víctor Ruiz for this season. Thus, the 25 year old defender will play for the Yellows during the 2014-15 campaign.
Ruiz is a centerback of great physical condition and noted for his good tactical positioning and his capacity to build up the play from the defense, which can convert him in a reference in the defensive line of the Submarine.
Ruiz arrived in RCD Espanyol’s academy in 2006 at the age of 17, from neighbors UE Cornellà and made his debut with Espanyol’s first team in Primera División in 2009. A year later he moved to Italy to play for SSC Napoli and in 2011 he was transferred to Valencia CF. The Catalan has also been international in all the Spanish lower categories: Under 17, Under 19, Under 21 and Under 23.
