Thousands of Yellows fans enjoyed a unique day at the Estadio de la Cerámica
The second edition of the Fan Fest, held last Saturday at the Estadio de la Cerámica, was a great success: a total of 7,000 Yellows fans attended the stadium throughout the day and enjoyed a unique day full of activities and fun.
The event began at 5:30pm CEST with the opening of the stadium doors and the start of the different activities for fans of all ages, including the opportunity to visit the most exclusive parts of the Estadio de la Cerámica.
One of the main attractions of the day also had a notable presence. More than a thousand runners took part in the XI Cursa Solidària Celtic Submarí Memorial José Manuel Llaneza, a 6-kilometre race with the start and finish line at the Estadio de la Cerámica. One hour earlier, at 7pm, the 2.5 kilometre charity walk took place, with the participation of another 655 yellow fans.
Later, from 9:15pm, local groups Crancs and Los Indios entertained the final part of the day with live performances, accompanied by bars to buy food and drink.
The party organised by Villarreal CF, with the collaboration of the Peña Celtic Submarí, was of a charitable nature, with all proceeds going to ASPANION (Asociación de Padres de Niños con Cáncer de la Comunidad Valenciana).
