The new additions to the first team have received their health cards from the club’s medical provider

Villarreal and ASISA continue to work together. The new Villarreal players, Alexander Sorloth, Ben Brereton Díaz, Denis Suárez, Santi Comesaña, Ramon Terrats, Ilias Akhomach and Matteo Gabbia, have received their health cards from ASISA, Villarreal CF’s healthcare provider. This means that all members of the first team now have the services and assistance of this prestigious health insurer.

The event, held at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground, was attended by the ASISA CEO, Dr Javier Gómez-Ferrer; the ASISA manager in Castellón, César Gozalbo; and the ASISA manager in Valencia, Miguel Oro.

ASISA has been the official healthcare provider of Villarreal Club de Fútbol since January 2016. As official healthcare provider, ASISA is responsible for the medical and health care of Villarreal CF’s first team squad, its academy teams and club employees. The company offers them a wide range of medical services and access to the latest treatments and the most innovative technological and healthcare advances in the fields of prevention, health, nutrition and wellbeing.

Commitment to the promotion of sport

This agreement with Villarreal CF is based on the corporate principals of ASISA. One if its most recognisable hallmarks is a solid commitment to the patronage and sponsorship of a multitude of social, cultural and sporting activities.

Because of this, the insurance company strongly encourages education and healthy lifestyle habits. This commitment is materialised through both the support and sponsorship of different organisations and sports clubs, with the objective of promoting sports from the grassroots level and supporting young athletes.

The values ASISA wants to transmit and promote among youths, through these sports sponsorships, are teamwork, competitiveness, personal growth and perseverance.
