Together united to win

Villarreal CF head coach Pacheta expects an intense match against Alavés (Sunday, 6:30pm CEST)

For the coach from Burgos, working together will make it easier: “We know that we have to give the club and the people what they are asking for. We are here to change this situation and that is what we must do, and we must do it all together. These are things that happen, but we must learn and above all be together. I send a message of unity. Together it will be easier and that’s what we have to look for as a team and as fans. I think we have a great relationship with the fans, I think they are going to welcome the team, and that people are moving to make it better. As I said, a message of unity and to be clear that we are all here for the same thing. We’re going to sort this out.”

As for the analysis of the rival, Pacheta warned of the danger of the team from Vitoria: “Alavés are a solid team and they are very clear about what they do. We have to be in control, but know how to measure and be confident when you’re not in control. There are always moments when you’re going to have difficulty and when the opposition are going to be better. That’s when you have to be calm and have maximum control, something we know we have to detect and improve”.

Lastly, Pacheta opted for calm: “We have to take into account that the rival is going to play with our nerves. It’s true that in the first division I’ve been in teams that have always swum in these waters, so in this aspect we are calm. But we know that this team is not in a usual situation, but that’s why we are sending out a message of calm. All that atmosphere and all that nervousness exists because the team is built to be in another zone, so being here is more difficult. You see that they have to be a bit more cautious, and that’s what I know we have to take away from them. But don’t worry, we’re going to get through this, I have no doubt that we’re going to solve it with the material I have.”
