The prestigious entrepreneur Wang Jianlin visits the Ciudad Deportiva
Villarreal CF welcomed to the Sports City the prestigious Chinese businessman Wang Jianlin, chairman of Dalian Wanda Group Corporation, with whom the club has a partnership since 2010. The project under the name ‘Wanda Project’, is aimed to train young Chinese stars to boost the influence of the Yellow’s youth projects in Asia.
Wang Jianlin was very impressed with what he saw of the training process that has mentored the young Chinese prodigies. He went on to praise the organization and club who work in coordinating the project. Furthermore the Chinese businessman expressed his admiration for the facilities in the Sports City and the Residence where young players live in the first year of the project. He also gave special thanks to the Villarreal families that host the talents in their second year.
The visit aimed to strengthen relations with Dalian Wanda Group Corporation, who assured the club that the collaboration will continue for many years.
