The fans had a great day with a giant lunch, games, music and a tour of La Cerámica
Villarreal CF celebrated Fan Card Holders’ Day and Supporters’ Association Day ahead of the match against Rayo Vallecano. A big party crowned by a popular meal, next to the headquarters of the Agrupació de Penyes del Villarreal, which featured live music, games and a lot of passion for the Submarine.
The supporters began the day with a tour of the refurbished Estadio de la Cerámica and then joined the supporters’ party.
Before lunch, the APV (Villarreal Supporters’ Association) presented the José Manuel Llaneza awards. The sons of the legendary former Yellows’ vice-president were in charge of presenting the awards to the winners: Manolo Casarrubio, the club’s director of operations; Sergio Botía, coordinator of the national police; and Ramón Martínez, coordinator of the local police.
Finally, and after enjoying a great party in the Carmelitas car park with the supporters, the fans experienced a unique moment when they jumped onto the Estadio de la Cerámica pitch to have their photograph taken with the Villarreal CF starting XI against Rayo Vallecano.
