Villarreal manager Javi Calleja was satisfied with the effort put in by his men against SD Eibar against Ipurua, despite the 2-1 defeat: “We knew that it was a very difficult game. We lacked a cutting edge up front and in defence we were unable to cut out some certain passes. There were small details that decided the match. We worked hard, but we lacked a killer instinct.”
