“I think we played a very good first half, in the second we had control of the game but we conceded a goal on a counter-attack and from then on, as happened to us on more occasions, the team got into a negative frame of mind and the opposition scored again, it’s not the first time it’s happened to us, Real scored three goals in a few minutes and two more in a short space of time. It was a shame because we were competing on equal terms against Barcelona.”
Important win, but a need to continue
“We were at our best and at certain moments Barcelona’s defence was not at its best and neither were we. I’m not much for thinking about turning points, if we are able to repeat positive results, in two months’ time we will be able to classify this game as a turning point, now we have to play well and win, then if that happens in the next ten games we will classify the game as a turning point.”

“Ilias is a guy I knew very little about and he has won what is happening, he has played a lot, Yeremy’s injury gave him the chance but the truth is that he offers a high level at a competitive level, we are very satisfied with his performance in a complicated situation.”
