In good form outside of the relegation zone
“We’re happy to have won in Sevilla and to have left the relegation zone after more than 100 days. The team have been strong and we need to continue to be. We’re in the best moment of the season, and we can’t relax. We need to continue like that. On Sunday, we need to try and get the three points against Rayo Vallecano, who has been alongside us at the bottom of the table.”
Avoid errors to get the three points
“They’ve changed manager. Now they’re playing deeper with more transitions. They have quality players in the middle of the pitch, and a lot of speed. The keys will be to make fewer errors. The most solid team who commits fewer errors will win. We’ve improved in both boxes. The defensive work is better every day.”
An important match against a direct opponent
“All the matches are worth three points. We can’t treat it as a final. It’s an important match because we’re facing a direct opposition, but there are a lot of matches left, and it’s not decisive. It’s true that, if we win, we will move up the table and we will move away from the relegation zone. Our aim is to not return there. It won’t be easy. The teams who are fighting alongside us are also very competitive.”
