The RFEF has today announced the calendar for the women’s first division and Villarreal Women now know their opponents
Villarreal Women now know their schedule for the new for the 22/23 leeague season following the draw made today by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). It should be noted that the RFEF was forced to generate a new calendar due to two errors in the numbers drawn in the draw.
As a result, Sara Monforte’s side, who are facing their second season in the top flight, will kick off the season at the Miralcamp Training Ground against Real Madrid. The match, with date and time to be determined, is scheduled for the weekend of 11 September.
The derbies against Valencia CF will take place on matchdays 7 (30th October 2022) and 16 (25th January 2023), while the derbies against Levante UD will be held on matchdays 14 (8th January 2023) and 25 (16th April 2023).
The groguetes will end the league competition away to Athletic Club on the weekend of 21st May 2023.
