Villarreal Women’s defeat against Levante UD (0-2). The ‘granota’ side picked up the three points at the Mini Estadi after a match in which there was equality, but the efficiency of the away side decided the game in their favour.
After a very competitive first half in which the Yellows enjoyed some great chances, Levante UD surprised the Submarine with two attacks in the second half. Just past the hour mark, Toletti took advantage of a good individual move by Falcón down the left to cut inside from the wing and beat Elena de Toro.
In the last few minutes, with the Submarine on the attack, Redondo put the game to bed at Miralcamp when she took advantage of a magnificent assist that again came from the left flank.
The positive note of the game for Villarreal Women was the debut of Salma Paralluelo in Primera Iberdrola. The first of many.
