Joel Leiva (@Jowimagic) will be at the controls and Marcos Sánchez (@Canegol7) will be calling the shots for Villarreal during their participatoin official LALIGA tournament for EA FC 24 in the 2023/24 season.. At just 19 years of age, the gamer from Vall d’Uixó already knows what it’s like to compete, alongside his head coach (25 years old), in the prestigious tournament promoted by LALIGA EA Sports.
The two gamers from Castellón represented FC Cartagena for two seasons after earning this valuable opportunity through the draft. At FC Cartagena, the gamers from Castellón not only earned a place in the starting line-up, but also achieved a magnificent fourth place in the regular season and a top 9-12 finish in the finals during their first season. All this while posting the second best record in the division, with only one defeat. So impressive were the results that Joel Leiva was even named player of the last week of competition and revelation player of the season.
Last season, the duo finished sixth in the regular season and in the finals they finished in the top 13-16. Marcos Sánchez also won one of the awards for best coach of the week in eLALIGA Santander.
Now, after a successful experience in Murcia, Joel Leiva and Marcos Sánchez are fulfilling the dream of defending the colours of the team they love. The two young men, both from La Vall d’Uixó, are regulars at the Estadio de la Cerámica and Leiva has played for Villarreal youth level. Welcome!
