Villarreal CF has presented the official campuses and tournaments that will be held during the 2023/24 season. The calendar of sporting events promoted by the club will feature two new editions of the prestigious Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter and Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer. These competitions will be accompanied, for yet another year, by the creation of the Villarreal CF Campus Team and by the celebration of the official campuses organised by the Yellows throughout the season.
The Villarreal CF campus and tournament calendar for the 2023/24 campaign is as follows:
Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter (28th to 31st March)
This is an international youth football competition organised by Villarreal CF. It takes place during the Easter week, with matches being held in top level facilities such as the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground, the Pamesa Cerámica Training Ground and the Pau Francisco Torres Municipal Sports Centre in Vila-real.
The tournament’s line-up always includes top European teams, as well as squads from all corners of the world. As if that were not enough, as well as the sporting spectacle, the participants enjoy the Mediterranean climate and the wonderful tourist area of Benicàssim, where the competing teams are staying.
To round off the tournament, a big party will be held at the Estadio de la Cerámica. Participants will also have the opportunity to take an exclusive tour of the stadium.
- Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer (27th to 30th June)
Like the Easter Cup, it is an international youth football tournament promoted by Villarreal CF. It is played in summer with the Estadio de la Cerámica as the main venue, although matches are also played in other elite facilities such as the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground, the Pamesa Cerámica Training Ground and the Pau Francisco Torres Municipal Sports Centre in Vila-real.
Teams from all over the world come together in Vila-real to play one of the most important tournaments in Spanish youth football.
- Villarreal CF Camp Team (26th to 30th June)
Villarreal offers the participants of its official campuses the opportunity to form part of the Villarreal CF Campus Team and thus compete in the prestigious Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer tournament, facing some of the best teams on the domestic and European scene.
- Villarreal CF Camps
Throughout the season, Villarreal holds several official camps to nurture talent and improve the football skills of young players who dream of enjoying football with the Submarine.
The following camps are set to take place this season:
- José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground Camp
Christmas and Easter editions (exact dates to be confirmed). This event is aimed at boys and girls aged 4 to 17 from the province of Castellón and surrounding areas. It is carried out with double morning football sessions under the methodology of the club and the guidance of Villarreal CF coaches.
- Estadio de la Cerámica Camp
Exclusive summer event. This activity is aimed at boys and girls from four to 17 years of age from the province of Castellón and the surrounding area. It takes place in the Yellows’ impressive stadium with double morning football sessions under the methodology of the club and the guidance of Villarreal CF’s coaches.
- Villarreal CF PRO Camp
Summer events. They will be held during the month of July on different dates. This activity is aimed at boys and girls aged between four and 17 years old. Unlike the previous camp, this event offers the unique opportunity to experience first-hand an in-house weekly summer camp, with the participation of players from all over Spain and abroad.
