The club has celebrated the work of its top executives during its 100-year history
Villarreal CF has paid an emotional tribute to the 18 former presidents that the club has had over the 100 years of the club’s history. The current president, Fernando Roig, led this small tribute by presenting his predecessors or their families with a beautiful gift made by the artist Elena Negueroles, as well as an official centenary book.
The historical former presidents of Villarreal CF are José Calduch, Pedro Perona, Antonio Plaza, Santiago Ramos, Juan Manuel Tuixans, José Fabra, Lorenzo Carda, Miguel Batalla, Juan Villar, Juan Bellés, Pascual Gil, Pascual Rubio, Pascual Font de Mora, Pedro López, Manuel Almela, José Coloma, Salvador Orenga and Ernesto Girona.
At this event, held in the press room of the Estadio de la Cerámica, the official centenary book and documentary were also presented. With this event, which took place exactly one year after the inauguration ceremony, the activations promoted by Villarreal CF to commemorate the 100 years of the club’s existence come to an end.
