The Yellows’ B team beat the side from Alicante comfortably thanks to goals from Álex Millán (2) and Ahn
An impressive win. Villarreal B beat CD Alcoyano in a rescheduled Matchday 4 at the Mini Estadi. The Yellows’ B team’s goals came from Álex Millan (2) and Ahn. With this win, the Mini Submarine move third into the table, with eight points from five games.
The Mini Submarine went ahead thanks to a great goal from Ahn. The Korean shot powerfully, and the ball flew into the away team’s goal like a rocket (1-0, m.17).
Not too long later, Ahn could have scored once more, with a header that just went off target.
The goal that made it 2-0 came from Millán. Narro played a through ball for the Yellows No.9 got away from his marker to score with his right-foot spectacularly. Another great goal.
Villarreal B came out after the break in the second half with a two-goal advantage. Despite that, they looked for the third goal straight away, and it could have gone to Millán once more little after the restart. The No.9 made a classy cutback, but his shot was kept out by José Juan.
The B team’s third goal came with 62 minutes on the clock. Edu Adell’s inch-perfect past landed on Millán’s head, with the forward sending it into the back of the net.
