Villarreal CF players Pau Francisco Torres and Gerard Moreno started for Spain in La Roja’s win over Ukraine (4-0). The UEFA Nations League match took place at the Alfredo di Stéfano Stadium in Madrid. The goals came from Sergio Ramos (2), Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres.
Centre-back Pau played the whole match, while Gerard was involved in the first 73 minutes of the match, before he was replaced by Ferran. Gerard put the ball in the back of the net, but his goal was ruled out for offside.
