Toko Ekambi and Chukwueze cross paths in the Africa Cup of Nations

Cameroon and Nigeria will meet this Saturday (6pm CEST) in the Round of 16 of the continental tournament

Samu Chukwueze and Karl Toko Ekambi, Villarreal team-mates, will be rivals in the Africa Cup of Nations. The Yellows footballers will face off in the round-of-16 tie between Nigeria and Cameroon (Saturday, 6pm CEST).

Both the Indomitable Lions and the Super Eagles reached the round-of-16 as second in their group. Nigeria got six points, finishing behind Madagascar, while Cameroon drew 0-0 with Benin on Tuesday, and got five points, with Ghana finishing above them.

Ramiro Funes Mori and Argentina were knocked out of the Copa América semi-finals, losing 2-0 to Brazil. The Yellows defender did not feature in the game.
