Bruno and Iturra were new faces in the friendly between the first team and Villarreal B
This Wednesday’s training session saw Villarreal CF play a non-competitive match against Villarreal B on Pitch 1 at the Ciudad Deportiva. The Yellows first team defeated the Mini Submarine 2-0, with strikes from forwards Nicola Sansone and Dani Raba.
Furthermore, Yellow captain Bruno Soriano stepped out on to the pitch and played part of the encounter against Miguel Álvarez’s side. Villarreal’s number 21 is continuing with his rehabilitation process so he can return to competitive action. The game also saw Miguel Iturra join his new team-mates, completing his first training session since signing for the Yellow Submarine.
