Unai Emery underlines that Levante had good footballers who will be motivated

The Yellows are on a five-match winning streak in all competitions. However, this afternoon, Unai Emery underlined that his team will have to work hard if they want to beat Levante UD at the Estadio de la Cerámica this Monday (7pm CET): “It’s the right moment to remember how difficult winning is. Levante are last in the table, but they have very good footballers and I don’t think the team deserve to be there. I’m expecting to face a very motivated opponent and I am sure that it will be a very difficult game because Levante have talent.”

For Emery, possible absences should not be an excuse: “We’re in a post-holiday process in which COVID has returned. It leads to uncertainty because the recovery time is quicker and the symptoms are lighter. It’s a question of dealing with it internally, respecting the guidelines from the government. Until the last minute, we aren’t going to know how many players we will have available to us.”
